Artist in Residence--Last Session of this School Year

Our last artist in residence session for the year was awesome. We did some cool embossing and created some flowers. Fun!  Thank you Mrs. King for the fun experience.

Yum! Fried Potatoes.

It's always fun to give the kids a little treat in the classroom. We ate some potatoes fried on the griddle with some garlic salt. Most of the kids loved the potatoes. Ms Tacchini and I really liked them too.

Chemistry in Kinder? Different types of playdoh using different recipes.

We mixed three different batches of homemade playdoh: bad, so-so and good using different recipes. We also used some real playdoh. We compared all four types and decided we liked the real playdoh and batch C the best because we could make a snake and a pancake with those types of playdoh.  The other batches were way too sticky.

100th Day of School

We did so many fun activities on the 100 th day of school.

Snack time.

Dr. Seuss's Bday

Dr. K. was our guest reader for Dr Seuss's bday. He is a former principal and a current Rotarian. He did a great job reading to the kids.

Deputy Glass from the sheriff's department also came to read to our class. He also did a great job.

We made green waffles. Yum!
