First Day of Kindergarten (for last names M-Z)

We had a wonderful day today.  Just like with yesterday, we started out with table activities, moved to the carpet and discussed procedures/expectations.  We then read several Pete the Cat books, took a tour of the school, went to recess, listened to Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and ate a snack that looked like a coconut tree, worked on a name project, went to lunch/recess, read No! David!, did an activity based on that, went to MUSIC, came back, watched a YouTube video of another Pete the Cat story, colored our shoes for a project, went to recess, and then packed up and played a little.  BUSY DAY!!!

    Hi Mrs.Hick's, Kyra told me about your blog for Westley's kindergarten class. What a great idea for parents & grandparent's, too! Especially, since we live out of the area!     I am so glad that you like the blog. It will be fun to "document" the journey this class makes this year. I am so excited to have Westley in my class. There will be lots of fun posts! If you sign up by email, you will receive a notification every time I post :)
