Color Week #1--Orange and Green

We have finished Color Week #1 with Orange and Green.  It's so fun to see all the kids in the classroom and on the playground wearing the same colors!

The kids look great in green!

  

Kolton is circling the work green.

Gracie found the word green too.

Jeiden was so excited.

Samuel is concentrating while circling "green."

Alex was concentrating hard.

The kids are so happy in orange.

Yes, really, I am taking another picture!  Look at those smiles.

Josie and Hannah are doing "write the room" for literacy stations and 

are at the apple table writing down words.

Maddy, Jacob and Kernan are doing "write the room" and are writing the kids' names.

Kolton is doing "write the room" and is writing Jacob's name down.

Why do we do "write the room?"  Well it's fun to move around the room and 

the kids get to practice 1:1 correspondence and practice their handwriting.  It's a win-win situation.

The kids LOVE "write the room" as a station and so do I.
